WILDERNESS CONNECTIONS

Wilderness, the untouched haven or refuge for living species, both plant and animal, serves as the inspiration for all Nature-Bound Australia journeys. Mankind often overlooks the importance of wilderness as a stimulus for inspiration, creativity and learning - for empowering the mind.

In the wilderness you will enjoy therapeutic benefits, gaining clarity of mind, timely reflections on life values and direction, a place where you can sharpen your senses and reach a new understanding.

The challenge of course is in granting yourself the permission to indulge a little in some well deserved simplicity and relaxation in the wild, far beyond man created environments, activities and retreats.

WHO SHOULD PARTICIPATE ?

Chances are by reading this far, you have already recognised the value of the wild, the need to take some time out in your life from business, work and living pressures, to reconnect with your priorities, your partner, family member or friend. It may be time to clear the mind for the way ahead or simply to "chill out".

GETTING THERE

All our short duration wilderness connection journeys depart from and return to Brisbane, Capital City of Queensland an international gateway to Australia and a short domestic flight from Sydney in the south and Cairns in the tropical north. Qantas and Virgin offer regular arrivals and departures throughout each day.

ACCOMMODATION

Subject to the journey of your choice, the range of comfortable accommodation on offer includes mountain cottages, environmental lodges, village motels and farm-stay lodge/retreats.

MEALS

All main meals (BLD), morning and afternoon teas are enjoyed in a variety of local settings including wineries, taverns, alfresco cafes, lodges, country pubs and even personal gourmet lunch boxes.

DEPARTURE DATES

Departures are normally scheduled to fit in with regional accommodation providers in remote areas.
Some flexibility may be possible for small group bookings of 8 or more people touring exclusively.

BEST MONTHS

Virtually all year with the July / August period cooler as much of your journey is located in elevated tableland country and December / February period warmer.

PARTICIPATION

Minimum group numbers on each journey are 8. Organise your own group.
Maximum numbers 12.

INCLUSIONS

Meals as indicated, National Park entries, accommodation twin share, transport and guide services, any local guide or general entry fees where applicable.

EXCLUSIONS

Free time and personal costs. Personal travel insurances. Pre and post travel arrangements connecting to Brisbane. Australian departure tax. Food and beverages additional to those comprehensively provided.

Journeys vary in duration and location. Prices will vary according to journey selection.
We invite you to email us direct in the first instance, stating precisely (on an obligation free basis):
• The proposed number in your party, from a min of 8 to max of 12.
• Your Tour Code - A to F (as selected).
• The time of year (range of dates) you would prefer to enjoy your journey.
