2009 - 2010 EXPEDITIONS

JOURNEY TO THE "CORNER COUNTRY"

BIG RIVERS EXPEDITION (2010) AND

LAKE EYRE AND BEYOND EXPEDITION (2010)

"CORNER COUNTRY" EXPEDITION

Australia is internationally acclaimed for its remote frontier landscapes, home to epic stories of challenge and endeavour, success and disappointment which gave rise to the spirit and character of its outback people, where legendary feats of exploration, settlement, enterprise and adventure are played out even to this day. Join our frontier expeditions, soft adventures into the remote regions of Australia, typically suited to a wide range of special interest groups, Seniors or Over 50's, educational study groups, social travel clubs and individual adventurers.

Despite the challenges and rigors of the outback, there is a growing desire by people to explore the bush, to savour the colours, the feelings and moods of endless horizons and space, unbelievable sunsets leading to star filled skies by night, the inspirational meeting with an adventure traveller when least expected, the heritage of rural stations bigger than some nations and curious isolated pubs or villages that are literally as small and remote as that dot on the map. Then there are the "salt of the earth" characters who carve out a living in a remote existence with curious humour and abundant goodwill.

"Come savour the sense of infinity."
